Are you looking for a good drink recipe?

It is a common knowledge that Russians are heavy drinkers, no matter where they live: in frosty Russia or sunny California. That is partially true, since no party can be considered successful if there is no alcohol on the table. Being part of this culture, I always have self-made vodka-based drinks for our gatherings in the fridge.

This time, I missed it, and found out that I am out of regular supplies, when it was too late to prepare the regular recipe (it takes at least 4 to 5 days to get my alcohol and fruit based drinks to get ready). In effort to find a nice solution fast, I turned my glance to usual virtual assistant Internet Search. And, after several minutes, the solution came with the website Extra Tasty.

This website is a web-based community collection and exchange of the people's favorite drink recipes. On the first page, you meet the Drink of the Day, representing the recipe, which received the highest amount of votes from all community members. Note, that you can use all the site knowledge with no need to register or log-in. But if you want to participate actively in the life of community, you may want to create a free account. That will allow you also makes the searches faster in the future visits.

Anyway, today, the Drink of the Day is Goblin:
Components:
Booze: 2 parts Vodka and 2 parts Apple Liqueur.
         Mixer: 3 parts Lemon-Lime Soda
         Garnish: Lime.
         Directions:
Take a decent sized glass, add 2 shots of vodka (more if you are a heavier drinker), then add 2 shots of Apple Liqueur (usually Apple Pucker works best). Then add in the sprite, now here's where it varies, depending on the strength of taste you want, add more sprite if you want to dilute the taste of the vodka. Then grab a lime and squeeze the juice out into the drink. Also add ice if you like. Don't forget to stir.

Way, it looks good, and I definitely have vodka in house. But no Apple Liqueur, and, definitely, never Lemon-Lime Soda…  So, should I patiently search all recipes, looking for one, which I happen to have all ingredients for? No way, that will take hours. The nice option, presented on the site, is called My Bar. Using this option, you can input all the ingredients, you can think about, you have at home, and the smart search will offer you the drinks you can make, based on the available products. For your convenience, when you start typing, the suggested ingredients list appears, so you can simply choose fast the suitable one. As you input one, it is instantly saved to your personalized list, and when you are done, click on the summarizing button below to check for all available drinks in the database, which can be performed from the embedded elements.
